OSHA Forklift Certification

Pursuant to section 1910.178(i)(6) of OSHA's Powered Industrial Trucks standard, all employees that operate a motorized pallet jack or forklift must be completely trained, tested and certified as a requirement to operate that specific equipment. The Steps To Safety program was developed based on requests for assistance from Raymond customers for a corporate training package that dealt specifically with pedestrians. Steps To Safety encourages the application of the principles explained in the course to specific business environments and material handling processes.

The program can be used as an add on to Raymond's forklift operator training program, Safety On The Move or as a separate training. This program can be led by a local Raymond West Inc representative or by an accredited instructor within your company.

Virtual Reality Forklift Simulator

In addition to courses, Raymond has recently released a technologically advanced Virtual Reality Simulator, featuring industry leading VR technology to help you cultivate more skilled, efficient lift truck operators.

The VR device puts trainees on an actual Raymond forklift in a very convincing virtual warehouse. Through VR technology, operators can get continuous feedback while experiencing convincing "real world" challenges.
